Hotboxin’

compounding verb
To smoke in a completely closed off and secluded area that allows that the smoke to build up and thus creates a greater “high” sensation.

This word is most commonly used by people who smoke, who are usually called stoners. They used this word to emphasize the type of environment that is created during a smoking session. There was no original word for this activity in this particular setting and thus the word was created so that these individuals could express themselves properly. The room literally gets hot because smokes fills the enclosed areas otherwise known as a box.
Etymology : Compound formed from roots hot and box plus the noun forming affix -ing but modified to fit slang accent of AAVE which is then shortened to -in’
