Zoom Fatigue

compounding noun
Being extremely tired from spending hours on Zoom for class or meetings etc. It could also describe the physical pain experience from being sedentary for long periods of time.

This word is used at a high rate at this time given the overuse of zoom in the pandemic. It is usually used right before someone offers to have a meeting via zoom even though they acknowledge the tiredness that the members are experiencing.
Etymology : Zoom is a new app that has surfaced since the Covid age of online learning. Fatigue maintains its regular meaning of being overwhelmed with tiredness. The two together simply state “Tiredness due to Zoom”
