noun Blending
the act of using analogies to come to a presumably false interpretation of text as opposed to a careful socio-grammatical approach.
This word is a blend of analogy and possibly the root gesis meaning “guide, interpret”. It is created analogically from the terms exegesis and eisegesis, the latter being an equally likely component of the blend since the term is used to refer to a faulty interpretation.
Etymology : Blending of analogy and gesis (or possibly eisegesis), in analogical opposition to exegesis
