Jukebox Musical

A musical featuring pop songs from the 1960’s and 70’s, or one that is about a popular artist of that period. A jukebox musical is a new type of musical featuring music that was popular during the 1960’s and 70’s, or one that is about a musical artist of that period. They are called this because the music they feature would have originally been played on a jukebox. Because there is a lot of nostalgia associated with them, they are aimed primarily at baby-boomers.
