Imposter

noun Joke, Joking(ly)
A name for somebody who is acting suspiciously, usually in a group environment.

The videogame “Among Us” gained in popularity during late 2020 and brought with it a new vocabulary. The game features a crew whose job it is to fix a spaceship while trying not to be killed by an imposter. If the crew can successfully identify the imposter before too many players are lost, they win the game. With the game growing in popularity, imposter began to be used in this new context: an individual acting suspiciously or uniquely from a group.
Etymology : A technical term from the videogame Among Us, originally from the English word Imposter.
Source : “There is one imposter among us” read at the beginning of most standard rounds of the game (Among Us, 2020).
