autocorrupt

noun; blending
a autocorrect system that incorrectly changes a sentence’s meaning

corrupt was likely chosen because it has nearly the opposite meaning as correct but shares the same first syllable, cor, with it. Interestingly, this syllable originated from the same Latin prefix, com-, meaning “together.” Ironically, autocorrupt itself is frequently “corrected” to autocorrect.
Etymology : autocorrect + corrupt
