Lifehacker

noun; compounding; derivation affixation
Someone who uses tricks and efficient methods for doing daily tasks or activities.
 
For example, studying morphemes and etymology is a lifehack for memorizing words and prepare for GRE reading. Someone who performs this action is a lifehacker.
Etymology : Compounding of the roots life and hack with the affix-er added to indicate the person who is acting
