Fark

noun; blending and clipping
a parking spot appearing to be empty, when in actuality it is occupied by a small compact car especially a mini cooper, or Volkswagen Bug When I initially read ‘fark’ on a Mini Cooper email I figured it was just a playful word created by BMW to procure the rage over mini coopers. However, when my younger cousin used the word in the exact same context I realized it had spread to more people than just those who may have received this email. Learning the word from a peer, my cousin had been aware of the words implied meaning with no knowledge of its affiliation with the BMW company.

I thought I had seen an open parking space, but then I realized it was only a fark.
Etymology : Clipping/blending: Fa(ke) x (pa)rk
