Rice-boi

noun; compounding
Young Asian male who drives an expensive, highly modified, Japanese-imported car. A rice boi is a young Asian male, usually in his twenties, who drives a rather expensive Asian imported car, such as a Honda or Acura. Often, the car has been modified so that it is fit for racing, although most of the time the car is mainly used to impress friends and females. Rice is often thought of as a staple in Asian households; thus the root “rice” reminds one of Asians. Moreover, the root “boi” is not spelled like the English word “boy;” this is done so that the term is further associated with Asians. The term is used in informal settings to describe young Asian males with expensive, imported cars. Not many phrases exist to describe these types of males. The roots of the term are both associated with Asians, and thus the term seems appropriate to describe a type of Asian male.

Friend stated that she prefers to date Rice-bois because they drive nicer cars.
