A derogatory term to label a Caucasian male trying to act African American. Upon asking my friends what the word means since I had heard it only a few times before, I discover that the term is usually said in a derogatory manner to point out that a Caucasian was trying to act black. The word is actually a blend of two words: “white” and the insulting term for African Americans, “nigger” (the word transformed to “nigga” to reflect the pronunciation of the word).
