silly behavior to avoid paying attention, completing a task, etc. Someone who is “bo jangling” is procrastinating or acting silly in order to avoid doing something or completing a task. Similar to “dilly dally”, “bo jangling” is a word that doesn’t have any definition in standard English, but is still used. It has a funny way of rolling of the tongue like the word “dilly dally” as well.
