DNDL

noun; acronym
A compilation of subjects that are taboo for conversation. DNDL is an acronym from the phrase “Do not discuss list”. There are a couple of reasons that sentence would be turned into an acronym. First of all, if it is used frequently enough, then to be efficient (or just lazy) it could be turned into the 4 letter acronym. Also, while it cannot be pronounced as an English word, neither is it too awkward or difficult to say the letters. This is aided by the repeating D’s. Something like the “do not talk about list” would probably not have become an acronym because it is too awkward to spell out DNTAL.

Oh my god, dad, he's on the DNDL.
Etymology : DNDL. From the acronym Do Not Discuss List.
