crash

verb;
To reach a certain location and stop, especially when referring to a bed or place to sleep. "Crash" is easily used as a metaphor for stopping at a certain place. One can imagine someone “crashing” into the bed before they fall asleep. (Suggested)
 
A Sid student said that he had crashed at a friend’s room the night before.
Etymology : crash. Metaphorical extension of ‘crash’ (to collide with something)
