mad

adjective;
A generous amount of something. Alternately, denotes something of exceptional quality. Generally has a positive connotation. Probably evolved from the use of the word crazy to mean unusual as in ‘It’s crazy how well he plays the violin’ which then evolved to ‘He’s crazy good with a violin’ and so on.
