Ham

noun; derivation
Apparent meaning: n. a non-spam email message, but got filtered by the spam filter in the email box. Reason used: here is what my nerdy friend explained to me the usage of “ham”: One person's spam is another person's "ham," hacker-speak for desirable e-mail.

Context and Source: “Oh, that’s why I didn’t get your email, I can see why Evite messages are hams”.
Etymology : Analysis: shortened version of hacker-speak for desirable e-mail
Source : email with a friend about a party
