ROETHLISBURGER

noun; zero derivation
a hamburger at a particular restaurant Type of word formation: Essentially a zero-derivation from the name of a football player, although the spelling is changed to convey the fact that it is a burger. Possible reason used: The Steelers, and in particular their rookie quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, is more or less all that anyone in Pittsburgh is talking about this fall. The restaurant wants to take advantage of this situation by naming an item on the menu after Roethlisberger.

Etymology : Formed from name of Pittsburgh quarterback Roethlisberger
Source : Item on the menu at a restaurant in Pittsburgh
