yoube

noun; compounding
A poor Texas hold ‘em starting hand, specifically an 8 and a 3[short for “you be a fool if you be playing this hand”] Possible reason used: There aren’t that many different starting hands in the game, so people like to give names to some of the more notable ones. Naturally, different people choose different sets of names, but some of them have become pretty standard. This one, I suspect, is one of the less common ones. Apparent meaning: A poor Texas hold ‘em starting hand, specifically an 8 and a 3. As it was explained to me, this comes from taking the first two words from the sentence, “you be a fool if you be playing this hand.”
