Raw

adjective;
Definition: yet another term for “cool” Raw Origin: I first heard this term in 2003 in high school to mean something new and cool. The two connections that I made were that the term raw materials could be interpreted to mean new materials instead of unfinished which led to its use as cool, because generally anything new would be cool. The second connection is the words’ exposure to the general public in a show called WWE Raw (a wrestling program) which may have led to its widespread use.

Usage: “Your jeans are raw, where’d you get them”
