scoob

verb; zero derivation
to eat or have a small snack. The user informed me that this developed in his high school among stoners. It is a clipping of and a sematic shift from, “Scooby Snacks”. It may have been used initially to make a reference to the stoner-joke laden cartoon “Scooby-Doo.”

I’ve really gotta scoob. I’m starved.
Etymology : scoob. Zero derivation of 'scoob': Clipping of 'Scooby Snack' (food eaten by TV character Scooby Doo)
