Sara

verb; blending and clipping
A southern slang that is short for “is there a” I heard this one on Jeff Foxworthy’s standup on comedy central. He was talking to his wife one day and mistakenly started talking about how he went out with Sarah last night. (his wife was named Sarah by the way). His wife quickly said, “what did you say!” and he relied, “uh, uh, Sara a beer in the fridge?”

uh, uh, Sara a beer in the fridge?
Etymology : Slang. Shortening of the phrase “is there a.”
