- Did you know John is a Windian?
Windian
noun; blending
A person who is half-white, half-Indian. There are no words for humans who are blends of more than one race, and it makes sense to use a word for them that is the blend of the words’ races! A white person might be Caucasian, and a person of Indian and white origin is a Windian. The word is an effective label because it is funny in the sense that it sounds like “Indian”, and seemed to convey the meaning correctly to everyone who heard it in context.
Etymology : Windian, noun [white, w- + Indian]; Blend of the words “white” and “Indian”.
Source : During a discussion at dinner at Brown commons, someone threw out this word as the racial title for someone who is half-white, half-Indian.
