- Dude, you’re such a Blacksican
Blacksican (perhaps blaxican)
noun; blending
A person of Hispanic descent whom one might mistake as an African American. The word was used because it is humorous in the context. A friend of mine is Hispanic, but in his facial features and skin tones one would guess he is actually African-American. To add to that, his mannerisms would place him as African-American as well. After he had something about how he was going to go “Hang with his homies”, a friend of mine said, “Dude, you’re such a Blacksican”. Circa 1997.
Etymology : Blacksican, noun [black + s from “mex” sound + -ican from Mexican]; Blend the words “black” and “Mexican”.
