BIZNATCH

noun;
A person in a social and political position of power and confident of himself. Interpretation of intended meaning: One who is in a position of power both politically and socially and is confident about his power. Or, as the current Lovett secretaries put it: "Here are the top five reasons why our President is a 'BIZNATCH': 5. He kicked Jon [one of the secretaries] off the couch [where the higher-ranked officers of the college sit during meetings, regarded as a throne of sorts]. 4. He made fun of our [the secretaries'] window [decorations on their dorm room window]. 3. He thinks he's more powerful than the Secretaries. 2. He is more powerful than the Secretaries. 1. He hooks up [has an intimate encounter with a member of the opposite sex] more than we do." Presumed reason for coinage: The word probably originated with the secretaries of Lovett College and first appeared on the Minutes and later spread to verbal use. The secretaries often change words to read like a pronunciation from Black American English (not so PC, but you know what I mean). This makes the minutes more interesting, and the entire subject seem more upbeat and hip than just the weekly meeting of the student government. BIZNATCH is one of their many, many such creations. Notes: BIZNATCH is a play on the last name on the last name of the current Lovett College president Brandon BIDLACK. The definition of the word describes Brandon's personality and position in the social and political stratum of Lovett College. The phonetic changes have a distinctively flavor of slang. BIZNATCH is monomorphemic.
