a break or rest from everyday happenings and work reason used: to express just how much I needed a break from school – I need more than a hiatus or a sabbatical alone, I need both!
 
I am so stressed out about school, I just need a hiatical from it all.
Etymology : blending of ‘hiatus’ and ‘sabbatical’
