Superherodom

noun; derivation
state or realm of having extraordinary powers and an inclination for saving people for the good of the world since this is a movie review in Entertainment Weekly, I think the author used this neologism to be more creative in his/her writing. As with many other derivational formations, this word also provides a more concise way of conveying the author’s idea.

Eventually, the Parr elders are lured back into superherodom — with Violet and Dash pitching in as full partners — and into a ripping, high-stakes action-adventure the keepers of the James Bond franchise only wish they had thought of first.
Etymology : derivation- addition of suffix –dom ‘house, control,’ or in this case realm of, to compound noun ‘superhero’
