An excuse for not winning, esp. at a video game, ESP. at Super Smash Brothers Melee A member of an online forum about the Gamecube game Super Smash Brothers Melee was trying to excuse his recent loss at the game as unavoidable, to which another member remarked “I don’t wanna hear your johns.” Apparently, this was named after a player named John who constantly had to make up excuses for losing.
