Ten-bagger

noun;
stocks that achieve a ten-fold gain (1000%) very quickly. Often associated with Internet related stocks It is a term derived from baseball, where a four-bagger is a home run. Its use was popularized in the UK by Alpesh B Patel, Financial Times columnist.
 
I have started investing...a small part of my portfolio in the hunt for UK "ten-baggers." These are stocks that may rise ten-fold quite quickly.
