rock

noun; analogy
1. In poker, a tight, conservative player who makes very predictable plays, and plays very few hands In poker, being a rock means that you make VERY few plays, and you almost never play or bet unless you have a very good hand. The person who said Dan Harrington was a rock was actually misusing the term, which I found out later.
 
Dan Harrington is THE rock.
