sauced

adjective;
1. Intoxicated My friend received as a gift a collection of rubber bracelets that had different words meaning intoxicated such as trashed, plastered, shit-faced, etc. We could only assume that “sauced” meant the same thing. It probably comes from the idea that sauce makes things taste better, translated into social terms, someone is “better” sociably, as in they are more sociable, if they are drunk.

Sauced.
Etymology : From English sauce ‘flavorful seasoning or relish’
