Haze

noun;
Potent marijuana Haze has undergone metaphoric shift from referring to the cloudiness of air to a sort of cloudiness of the mind. Some might argue that it has arisen from the ‘hazy’ potent marijuana has on the eyes, but it is unclear which of these words came about first. Nonetheless, the connection seems likely. More recently, Marijuana that can result in such an effect has adopted the name. Some drug users argue that haze refers to some genetic characteristic of the drug while others argue that it refers to the effects of the drug. At now, it seems there is no nationwide consensus, but that certain regions seem to have accepted one interpretation or the other.
