Cha

noun; sound symbolism
1) Slang pronoun for ‘you’ (“What cha doing?”) or 2) another way of saying ‘yes’ (“Do you want to go? Cha!”); both used in rap and hip hop song lyrics or everyday conversations Shortened form for the pronoun ‘you’ perhaps for better rhythm in the song or easier to pronounce. It sounds similar to the real pronoun and may have been formed by teens slurring words together to sound more informal "don't you" to "don't cha." This word is most often heard in hip hop culture with rap artists.
