labbie

noun; clipping
a teaching assistant or lab assistant Used because of brevity – “laboratory assistant” is too long. Also, “labbie” conveys a casual connotation, which fits the fact that most labbies are either students or grad students who took the class (or a similar class) previously.

Does anybody know when the labbies have office hours?
