throwing one’s body to a new rock-climbing hold that is out of reach possible reason used: Used by the rock-climbing speech community to express the powerful sort of push/leap that is sometimes necessary in order to get to a better hold that is out of reach. This word is used rather that saying an entire phrase to express this idea.
