drinkage

noun; compounding
liquid swallowed to assuage thirst or to give nutrition to the body possible reason used: I used this term because it sounds funny. I think this is not a very functional word and is reserved for when a person wants to sound goofy.

I really need some drinkage right now.
Etymology : compound of ‘drink’ (root) + ‘-age’ (suffix)
