Vomitous

adjective; derivation
something that is vomit-inducing apparent meaning: something that is vomit inducing. The speaker was trying to describe the meal her mother had prepared for her the day after she'd gotten her braces (and couldn't eat solid food). She was trying to convey that not only was it disgusting, but it had made her want to vomit. She therefore derived the noun 'vomit' into an adjective.

My mom made me a turkey-and-stuffing shake for Thanksgiving, which was the day after I got my braces. It was vomitous.
Etymology : derivation 'vomit' (stomach contents ejected during the act of vomiting) and '-ous' (A)
