peeps

A people, a group of persons with something in common Reason used: The word was used by my friend to describe people similar to him in a humorous manner. The word “people” was clipped and respelled to form “peep”. Since this is often used to identify a single individual, the plural forming suffix “-s” was added to indicate collectivity.
 
They are my peeps.
