- Upon forgetting my keys for the hundredth time and having my roommate supply me with her set, I proclaimed that she was a key-angel.
Key-angel
noun; compounding
one who helps those who get locked out with a set of extra keys. apparent meaning: a person who helps you when you forget your keys reason used: I had only lived with my roommate for a couple of weeks and could tell that she was getting tired of supplying me with keys. Therefore, I decided to suck up to her and give her a name that described what she was supplying (a key) combined with a complimentary reference to someone who helps (an angel).
