bagside

The side of a person’s body where a gigantic purse or messenger bag is carried
 
You tend to see this a lot with women carrying a bag or purse on their shoulder almost half their size. This often creates an awkward barrier preventing others from walking comfortably alongside.
Etymology : bag + side. ‘bag’ from Old Norse baggi
