Factitious

adjective blending/clipping
Describing an even in which fact is mixed with fictitious elements for embelishment.

"That was such a factitious story. What really happened at the end?"
Etymology : Blending of "fact" (from Latin "facere" meaning "to do") and "ficticious" (from Latin "fict" meaning "feigned" and "icious" which forms it into an adjective).
