Obamanomics

noun; blending and clipping
The fiscal policy of Barack Obama. The general economic philosophy of Barack Obama. An economic philosophy similar to or derived from that of Barack Obama.

This coining of this word was perhaps influenced by the great influx of neologisms springing from the name 'Obama.' Obama's focus on change in his campaign--specifically in changing economic policy--seems to have necessitated a word to embody this philosophy. However, since nothing in his policies is inherently new or different from past or otherwise known economic thought or plans, the word, to an extent, serves to rename and embody that ideology. For specifics, one can see the article linked in 'Source.'
Etymology : This is a blending of 'Obama' (referring to the 2008-2012 President of the USA) and 'nomics,' which is a clipping of 'economics.' 'Economics' from Latin 'oeconomia' and Greek 'oikonomia' both meaning 'household management' (from http://www.etymonline.com/).
