Crapple

adjective; blending
Cranberry apple flavor, most commonly seen as a juice.

Blended the beginning of 'cran' in cranberry with the word apple. It carries a certain phonetic relation with the word 'crap' and therefore invokes a comedic sense when used. It was the first blending of juice flavors and was closely followed by 'crape'. It may have been a slurring of words during intoxication that created this particular blend, but it has lived on within close friends.
Etymology : compound 'cranberry apple' blended into single word 'crapple' at shared 'a'
