Crape

adjective; blending
Cranberry grape flavor, particularly used as a juice flavor.

Blended the beginning of 'cran' in cranberry with the word grape. It carries a certain phonetic relation with the word 'crap' and therefore invokes a comedic sense when used. A slurring of words while intoxicated may have created this particular blend, but it continues to be used today with close friends.
Etymology : Compound 'cranberry grape' blended into one word 'crape' at the a or by replacing the 'g' in grape with the 'c' from cranberry.
