Kegerator (2)

noun; compounding
A system that cools a keg, while being able to dispense beverages from it. The kegerator is in itself, its own system that generally has a tap with a handle, and keeps the keg itself concealed. Many people use full size fridges as kegerators. The shelves inside the refrigerator are removed and a keg is placed inside. A tap is then placed on the keg, and a hole is drilled through the refrigerator door to a handle on the outside. The beverage inside the keg is pumped through the tab, by a CO2 tank, and is dispensed at the handle. Kegerators are very popular on college campuses for dispensing beer.

Don't worry about getting ice. We have a kegerator to keep the keg cool.
Etymology : Kegerator is built up in 2 parts, referring to the objects function. The "keg" part refers to what the machine holds. The "erator" refers to a mechanical machine.
