liptease

noun; compounding
an act of presenting one's lips in a manner that suggests the desire to kiss another individual, when in fact they have no intent of doing so

The term was formed from compounding of the words 'lip' and 'tease'. In its compounding, the semantic properties of both roots were retained, leading to a very transparent definition. Since 'tease' so well retained its semantic properties in the blending, its negative connotation is also retained in the blended 'liptease'. The word typically refers to women who present themselves in a sexually suggestive manner, yet have no intention of actually kissing or engaging in any other sexual activity.
Etymology : Formed via the compounding of 'lip' and 'tease'
Source : My ex-girlfriend at the University of Texas at Austin (November 2008). Quote: "Mary is just a liptease. She licks her lips in front of every guy, you're not the only one."
