Glamazon

noun; blending and clipping
A trendy female

Used to denote a girl who always dresses very elaborately in the latest trends and fashions; it is a clipping and blending of the words "glamour" and "amazon"
Etymology : The word "Glamour" stems from the Scottish word gramarye meaning "magic, enchantment, or spell" to describe the enchanting aspects of fashion and fads. The word "Amazon" from the '-azon' part of the word was introduced in 1398, from the Gkeek word Amazon, meaning "one of a race of female warriors in Scythia," from an unknown folk etymology derived from a- "without" + mazos "breasts," to describe these man-like warriors. Thus, "Glamazon" is a ruthless female whose fight is for beauty and fashion.
