noun; blending
crushed rocky debris.
 
A blending of gravel and rubble. The term was used to describe some rocky debris left by Hurricane Ike.
Etymology : Gravel is from Old French grave meaning 'sand' or 'seashore'. Rubble is from Middle English rubel.
