rumncoke

noun; compounding
an alcoholic beverage composed of rum and Coca-Cola, a common carbonated drink also called “pop” or “soda.” My friend was obviously either a) already drunk because it was her 21st birthday, or b) too lazy to type the extra two letters and two spaces involved to say “rum and coke.” It also could have been derived from the way rum and coke normally sounds when the words run together in speech.

It’s my 21st birthday, so I’m celebrating with my friend rumncoke!
Etymology : Rumncoke. Compound of ‘rum’ + clipped ‘and’ + ‘coke’
