garbage

garbage- a term used to emphasize how bad a certain player is on the baseball field. If a player does something bad, he is classified a garbage. Garbage, in its orignal text, refers to the trash, or something that is not needed anymore for any specific reason. That is why the term garbage is used to decide whether a player is good or bad.
 
Garbage describes how bad a player is, and how the player is unwanted. Similar to a normal persons garbage.
