A competitive situation is stacked if odds unfairly favor one team or individual over another.
 
Used when referring to an unfair situation.
Etymology : Comes from cheating in card games where stacking the deck by placing cards in a certain order can tip odds one way or the other.
Source : When referring to a game where one sports team looks to be greatly better than another, my friends often say the teams are "stacked."
