Obamarama

noun; derivation
An event where those in attendance showed support for Senator Barack Obama, particularly, a political or campaign event where Obama himself would show up.

Another novel creation from the 2008 presidential campaign that plays with the name Obama. Here we see a quite common pattern in word formation: rhyming and reduplication. “Did you enjoy the Obamarama today?”
Etymology : Obama, proper name, and –rama, from French and used to designate scenic exhibits or events.
